23rd Annual Navarre Beach "Fun Feast"

June 30 and July 1, Northwest Florida's Navarre Beach celebrates its annual "Fun Feast". This years events include a 5k run, fireworks, live entertainment, crafts, a children's area, and a corporation challenge.

The "The Georgia Satellites" headline this years entertainment followed by a fireworks spectacular. To handle the large crowd, the Chamber Of Commerce is offering free parking with Shuttle Service every thirty minutes to the festival area.

If you are going to be in the area during the event, do your self a favor and check it out. It promises to be a lot of fun for the whole family. You will understand why this has become a Emerald Coast local favorite.

5th Annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

Its back, the Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic. Sandestin Golf And Beach Resort is hosting this annual big-game tournament on June 19 - 24. This is the first tournament of its class this year and is a qualifying event in the International Game Fish Association Offshore World Championship.

Three heaviest in class will be eligible for cash prizes. Targeted game fish include blue marlin, tuna, dolphin and wahoo. Over 1 million dollars will be rewarded.

The event includes live concerts, shopping, exhibits and a movie night. There is something for every member of your family. Don't miss this exciting event.

Free Movies For Kids

All thru June and July, Destin Commons offers free movies for children. June 6th and 7th they will be playing "Over The Hedge" at the Rave.

Independent Flims At Destin Library

On June 12, at 7pm. The Friends Guild of the Destin Library, will show the independent film "Monster Thursday". This is part of their monthly movie night.

The film is directed by Arild Ostin Ommundsen. The film's play time is 103 minutes and shown with subtitles.

The film is free and open to the public

Starlight Ballet

The Starlight Ballet comes to The Merchants of Rosemary Beach on June 16 at 7:30pm. on the western green. This is a free event so bring you blanket and enjoy this mix of classic and modern works.

Angels On The Beach Gateway

Tickets are now available for a drawing for the Angles on the Beach Getaway, a three-night stay in a gulf-front room at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front on Blue Angels Weekend, July 19-21. A meal package for the weekend is also included.

Tickets are available at Independence for the Blind West Florida (IB West). The Drawing will be held June 29.

No purchase is necessary to win, however a donation of $5 for 2 tickets will benefit IB West, a private nonprofit agency dedicated to helping the blind and visually impaired achieve maximum independence.

Kid's Day

The City of Fort Walton Beach will host its annual "Kids Day" from 10 am-1pm. June 7 at the Fort Walton Landing. This year's event features activities and displays for kids of all ages.

Real Estate Expo

The Real Estate Expo, hosted by the Destin Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 11 am-7pm June 6 at Destin Commons. The Expo is free and open to the public and will showcase the area's leading real estate companies, developers, buildings contractors, brokers and financial institutions at booths along the main street of Destin commons.
